Bienvenida! Welcome!

You carry within you a deep well of wisdom. Sometimes trauma, disconnection, or a life-changing experience can make it hard to hear that quiet voice or trust what your body already knows. Healing begins when we turn inward and listen.

Here, therapy is not about fixing you. It's about returning to yourself, your body, your relationships, and the love you are capable of. Whether you're integrating a profound journey, healing relational wounds, or simply feeling the pull toward something deeper, this is a space to slow down and remember.

When we learn to attune to the body, we can recognize the signals of longing, grief, and love that shape everything. That awareness becomes the doorway, from cycles of disconnection into patterns of trust, genuine closeness, and conscious relationship.

Whether you're healing old wounds that keep showing up in love, navigating a life-changing experience with your partner, or simply ready to build a more conscious and connected relationship with yourself or another, Ceiba Integrative Therapy is a space to go deeper, grow roots, and come home to what matters most.

  • Individual Therapy for Women

You feel the pull toward something truer. A deeper relationship with yourself, your body, and the life you're building.

Maybe old patterns, attachment wounds, or a life-changing experience have left you questioning who you are and what you need.

This is a space to slow down, go inward, and do the real work with warmth, clinical depth, and a holistic frame that honors all of who you are.

    It begins with you.

  • Couples Therapy

You love each other, and love isn't always enough on its own. Communication breaks down, distance grows, and old cycles repeat.

Whether you're navigating a rupture, preparing for a shared journey, or simply ready to build something more conscious and connected, couples therapy at Ceiba offers a grounded, skills-forward space to repair, deepen, and grow together.

The most transformative work often begins before the breaking point.

  • Psychedelic Integration

Something shifted in a ceremony, a journey, or a moment that cracked you open. Now you're making sense of what you saw, what surfaced, and what it means for your life and relationships.

Psychedelic integration therapy offers a clinically grounded, spiritually attuned space to process, integrate, and carry those insights forward with intention.

The experience was just the beginning.

Raíces

Find your own path

Every person and every relationship arrives at a threshold in their own way. Raíces is how we find yours; a simple framework to help you understand where you are, what you need, and how we work together. Like roots, healing doesn't move in a straight line. It moves toward what it needs.

Which root is calling you?

Begin by choosing your own path.

The direction of the root system will bring you closer to the nourishment of your and your partner’s needs.

Deepen

I want to go further in my relationship and myself. For couples and individuals ready to do the deeper work.

Tend

I need clarity about where my relationship is going. For couples in discernment, holding the not-knowing.

Release

I'm ready to part with grace and intention. For couples choosing conscious uncoupling.

Reclaim

I'm doing this work for myself. For individual women coming home to themselves.

Wendy Barrios, LPCC, MFTC

Founder of Ceiba Integrative Therapy

Hola! I’m Wendy — a mindfulness-based transpersonal therapist, psychedelic integration specialist, and first-generation Latina healer based in the Boulder & Denver Metro area. I work at the intersection of love, trauma, and expanded states of consciousness, supporting women and couples who are ready to tend to their hearts and dream their life into being.

My approach is rooted in the belief that we don't fall out of love; we slowly stop doing the things that made us fall in love in the first place. I work relationally and holistically, holding the whole picture of who you are — your nervous system, your family systems, your cultural and ancestral stories, and the larger forces that shape how we love, attach, and heal. Through earth-based wisdom, ritual, ceremony, and sacred presence, I help couples and individuals return to what matters most: themselves, each other, and the love that never really left.

Ceiba Tree at Hotel Santo Domingo in Antigua, Guatemala. October 2025

Why Ceiba? (Say-ba) also called Yaxché (Yahsh-chey) in Maya.

The Ceiba tree, also known as Yaxché in Maya, is the national tree of Guatemala. Its towering trunk and vast canopy symbolize the bridge between earth, sky, and the underworld. Ceibas are giants, often growing over 200 feet tall with massive trunks and wide sweeping arches of roots that can span many meters.

In Guatemala, where my family’s roots lie, the Ceiba is more than a tree - it is a gentle guardian and sacred cosmic axis. For me, this relative represents my heritage: honoring my ancestors, my cultural roots, and remembering that healing begins in connection within the body, the earth, and the generations before us.

“Wendy's expertise and reverence for her practice are clearly apparent the first time I worked with her. She welcomed me into her space with a deep kindness and affection. Most of all, Wendy has a grounded and healing energy that made me feel at home in my own body. I highly recommend working with her!" ”
